Default Ancestry Question for Tuckerton!!!

I am looking for information on a family that lived in Tuckerton and either owned or ran a granite/ marble/ stone business. The names are William S Fryer or Lloyd Gaskill. William died in 1967 and had some sons and daughters that may have taken over the business. Their names are Lloyd ,Samuel, William Jr.,and Grace Fryer. If there is a business that is still in existence or anyboby knows these people please help. I think I am related to them and have hit a brick wall in my research. I was told that Wiiliams wife Amy Gaskill Fryer unveiled a stone monument for a relative that was in the revolutionary war in Egg Habor because someone in her family had carved it. Keep in mind that I am fron Texas and are not familiar with N.J. My mom is from Point Pleasant but moved away when she was a child!! Thanks for any help!!!

Have you tried zabasearch.com? Type in the name and city and hit send. I grew up in Tuckerton and the names doesn't sound familiar. What was the name of the business? It might help people to know the name of the business.

Good Luck.

Default try

try rootsweb for genealogical help. You might try nj.com/forums for help on more recent relations.

There is an Atlantic Stone Fabricating which is on the same road as the monument to the Egg Harbor Massacre.

My family last name is Mott-we have 7 generations in Tuckerton. I have heard of your relatives but since the ones who knew them are mostly deceased-there are only 2 left how can tell you all about them. One is Lincoln Mott who lives in NC-email bj@intelliport.net and the other is Mary Mott Mahr who lives in Whiting, NJ. I will ask her for info for you-she is 91 and hard of hearing but has an excellant memory.
