Last Summer I was wondering if we made a mistake having to endure 100 days of 90+ temps.
Now that I think about it, it did not require any shoveling, roof raking, driveway and walkway salting, sleeping on the floor to ease my aching back.
So to all my friends back in NJ, do me a favor and don't call me this Summer and ask me how hot is it down there?
I feel for you guys but I ain't gonna call you to ask if you shoveled the drive yet.

I got my plow guy out there now. Money well spent.
Yeah. I'm sick of the snow, that IS coming more frequently than usual. When is it going to end?!
Just watched a very interesting news clip. With the weather phenomenons becoming more and more violent and frequent throughout the world, this scientist's theory of the earth producing more moisture due to the warming effect seems valid.
As water in the atmosphere is what produces snow, his comment that major snowstorms are going to be the norm and not the exception in the future.
Yes, we get winter in New Jersey. But this winter and last have been exceptional. December was below average in temperatures and it looks like it will be the same this January. Since the Christmas weekend storm, we've had an event almost every week.

Yeah, but last year we had 10 snow events roughly (storms over 1 inch). That's about one a week. I think this year we're on track to get the same number, assuming we have about 5 weeks left of this.

And the Arctic is WARMER that it has even been before!

Unusual considering some of the lack luster snow seasons in the past decade. It'll be very interesting to see if we get a few more blockbuster storms in February.

I think it's inevitable. There was an article on AccuWeather this week about the possibility of a slight warmup mid-Feb to mid-March, and then colder again into early April. I wouldn't be surprised if we see snow in April this year.

If predicitions are accurate, this upcoming spring will be a 180 from last year. I'll take snow over 90 degree temps in early April.
