Does anyone know of some cool, decently priced restaurants in downtown JC or near Journal Square?...must be near the PATH.

Thanks

Lots in Downtown JC. Any particular genre? Most genres are represented here.

Hmmm, different types of fusion places would be cool. Or a place that caters to vegetarians?

I found it via a Newspaper article , the reviews on Google got me to go to it. Its not to expensive , great for a small budget and the ppl who run it are nice. The Food is Delicious.......theres also the Brownstone diner down on Jersey Avenue and Grand Street....there food is great and at a great price. Both locations are near the Light Rail or PATH station.

It's Hudson Restaurant Week and many JC restaurants are participating. Search Hudson Restaurant Week. Menus are on that site.

Tommy 2 Scoops is more of an ice cream/gelato parlor. They do have food there, but it's mostly wraps and sandwiches. I wouldn't call it a restaurant per se.

To the original poster - check out Skinner's Loft, LITM, Marco and Pepe, and The Merchant. They're all pretty cool places with decent to excellent quality of food, and they are all within a 2-3 minute walk from the Grove Street Path subway. For Asian you might want to check out More (Thai), Teppan (Japanese hibachi) Box (Japanese/Thai), and Wild Fusion (Asian fusion) all of these are also within a several minute walk from the Grove Street stop.
