I think OP's kids are a little too young for v-17 that place is very pricey and the kids are not old enough to drive the cars.
NJ children's museum is FOUL, definitely not sanitary.
We went to a party at the Classic Athletic Club in Lyndhurst the other day the kids had a blast.

Agree on the NJ Children's Museum. Ick.

A brand new place just opened up in Paramus. I think it's called Screamin' Parties?? It's on Rt 17 S next to Pet Goods. Looks pretty nice from outside - lots of inflatable stuff. And it's very clean, since it's just opened up 2 weeks ago :-)

Monster Indoor Glow in the dark Mini Golf is a nice idea. The kids have fun. It is in Paramus.

For your children's ages and area, I recommend Little Scoops in Closter. I had 2 parties there and loved it. I have also done Bounce U and Monster Golf loved them too, but I think that Little Scoops is better suited for our children's age.

My kids go to lots of these party places. Nobody has them in their basements any more. Kind of strange

I give another vote for Bounce U in Paramus. The kids had a blast, the facility runs the party for you, and it really tires the kids out so Mommy and Daddy get some peace and quiet later!

I think ten or more kids trashing your house isn't that appealing, especially in the winter.
