I am looking for a new home in Middlexex county NJ and I looked at Woodland greens in Edison NJ. I liked the homes though they are a little expensive. However, what concerned me the most was that the school district for this community is Edison High School and not the higher ranked school in NJ. I am wondering would it be easy to re-sell the house if i bought here? and why are these homes rather expensive. Your suggestions would be appreciated.
I like the builder Hallmark homes as I bought a house in another development but in Monroe. Edison High is ok but its a really large high school. It is what you make of it. He could also go to St. Joe's in Metuchen. don't know why but a lot of my friends in college at Rutgers who grew up in N.Edison and Metuchen said their parents made them go to St. Joe's as their town's school district was'nt that great. I don't really see a difference. You should'nt have any problem reselling your house as your development is right across from the Menlo Mall and Rt.1. Easy access to everything. I would'nt say its overly expensive probably more the norm for a new construction house in N.Edison.
