I can't believe the mall owners haven't found a way around this yet.

What does Teaneck's downtown do about this I wonder?
If Jewish people are living in a Christian majority nation, they should fallow the rules of the county. If Christians are living in a Jewish majority nation, they should fallow their rules.

How hard is that?

Another option for her is to shop in other nearby counties that are open on Sundays if she really needs to shop on Lord's Day. How's that?

As I recall, quite a few stores and restaurants along Cedar Lane close early on Friday, are closed on Saturday and open on Sunday.

do you mean the rules of the country or county? because this isnt a countrywide rule in spite of this being a christian nation.

You have no idea if this is true. What % of christians overall go to church when it isn't a holiday?

Do you still think this isn't about religion?

Does seperation of church and state mean anything to you?

You could also say that christians aren't even following christian rules. How else do you explain grocery stores being open on Sunday?

Not that much (Maybe about 20%). But it's not only about religion. It's being off on Sunday, spending time with family, relief stress, being able to go around without traffic, pollution.

I myself go to church every other Sunday. I enjoy being off from work, being with family and friends, walk on park and not worry about damn traffic, or worry about working that day. Believe me, working in retail you can't take off every Sunday. I also respect Jesus Christ..

Closing on Sunday is paradise... believe me!

Whether it is seperation of church and state or not, 78-85% of America are Christians. No need of seperation of church and state, since most voters fallow the Christian rules anyway

How come we don't have Jewish, Buddhism or Muslims presidents, governor or mayors for example? Because the majority of voters are Christians and don't vote for them.
