Edison, Iselin, Secaucus or North Arlington ? (good schools, place to live, groceries)

We are moving into NJ next month. Looking for a good place to live and here's our profile:
1)Need to commute to Penn Station, NY to work everyday
2)Looking for good schools around
3)Looking for a safe , decent neighbourhood
4)And Yes , I forgot to mention ..We are Indians

Which place is a good bet ? Edison, iselin, Secaucus or North Arlington ? I heard that Parsippany is a good place too ..is it??

If you don't already know... the area around Oak Tree Road, which is in both Edison and Iselin, is a very Indian area. Tons of shops and services for Indian related stuff. Probably one of the biggest concentrations of Indians in the country. You should definitely check it out if you want to live in an area where getting Indian groceries, threaded eyebrows, etc doesn't require a trip.

I don't think Secaucus or North Arlington have anything like that.

Oh..Yeah I did know that Edison has a very large Indian community.. Any ideas as to how far is Secaucus from Edison ?? Is secaucus a safe place to stay ? I dont mind going down to Edison once a week or so for all the shopping and stuff..
