I had a feeling a lot of towns would try to get in one last gouging of the taxpayers before the cap took effect.

In all fairness, shouldn't we at least wait for the 2011 results, when the cap is actually in effect, before making any judgements?

Yes, debt, pensions, health benefits and emergencies. Also increased enrollments for schools.

Ahh yes, where have I seen this before.. When all else fails, focus on race, gender, sexual orientation, or any other social issue used to mask attempt at pure fiscal gain.

Use the strawman tactic to buy our votes and $$$$$$ especially close to term-end.. Once the million$$$ from our community is received after the the sweet-talking, we're told to wait a bit for said rights, while we focus on more "pressing issues," like extending your subsidized benefits.

No wonder, why your left party focuses so heavily on race, sexual orientation and "social issues"....

It's healthy for your pocket$$$... Magnify divisions among groups, to induce squabbling. While busy squabbling, quietly raise taxes, extend subsidized benefits and low pension contribution rates, all under the guise of a "social cause."

Again, gets transparent after a while, no?
