I'd give the rabbi a pass since he's automatically jumped this thread to an 11 (think Spinal Tap) on the Jewishness scale.

I've lived in Mahwah for many years now and spend a great deal of time in Ramsey. Some of my closest friends live in Ramsey as well -- and all of them happen to be Jewish. Ramsey is a very diverse town, however, I can assure you that not only will your children not be the only Jewish kids in school, they will have many Jewish children in their classes. There are plenty of surrounding towns with temples as I said in my above post. It's a very nice town.
