Has anyone purchased a soon-to-be-built home in Summerfields (by Premiere) in Somerset/Franklin Township?

I have not purchase one. But I went to the sales office, looked at the models on paper. The price are very decent. They send me across the street to the Adult Home community to have an idea what the Summerfields homes will look like. I have to admit the houses are attractive.
The sales lady told me as soon as the models go up, the price will increase for the houses as well.

Are you looking to buy one ? is there another development you are looking at ? I would like to compare.

Thanks

Not sure if you are having kids, but make sure you are ok with the schools before you buy one if you are.

Somerset is a part of Franklin Township. The schools in Franklin Township don't have as high performance as some of the other school districts in that area (S. Brunswick, Montgomery, Hillsborough).

Also, take a look at the NJ Report Cards on the NJ Department of Education site. That is one of the best resources.

I also look that this new development. I got to say you get slot for the price. I almost decide to buy until I look up the school system and it rank very bad. If you don't have kid then it ok but if you do then don't buy house in Franklin township.

What's wrong with that? It's doesn't perform as well as some of the other districts that surround it. That's why the houses are cheaper there.
