One year, some roads, that were perfectly fine, will get re-paved, due to the "recovery and reinvestment act" (wasted tax money). That same year, roads that really NEED to be repaved, still won't be.

If you don't want to teach for the sake of teaching (all for the kids) go teach at a private school.

It's supposed to be an honorable job, not an "all about me and my wallet" job.

Or at least that's the word on the street.

Well, the recommended tax rate would probably be about 5-10%, so I think generosity would be an epidemic. In any case, under such a system, I would be happy to contribute my fair share, every year, and I am pretty sure almost every one else would too. Trillions would be released into the economy, which would inflate the coffers of private charities also. Freedom has a really good effect on people.

I'm really not getting your issue here. Are you ticked-off that seniors, students, and disabled folks get a reduced rate? Please give (me, at least) another hint about your issue.

I, for one, don't believe giving discounts to these groups constitutes "waste". But maybe I'm missing your point.

This has to be the biggest smelliest bag of horse crap I have ever read in my life.
Let me get this straight. When you are "forced" to pay taxes you complain its too much but if it was voluntary you would give happily? What the hell are you on?
