Default Sayreville/ Parlin ?

Which are the good and bad areas of Sayreville/ Parlin? Looking for a safe neighborhood, good schools around and easy commute to NY.

Are you looking for a house or apartment? There are a couple apartment complexes you'd want to avoid--Winding Woods is the main one.

Most of the town is very safe, and you'd have any easy commute via train (South Amboy) or bus.

The schools are average, and most of the parents in town seem pretty happy with them.

Sky Top Gardens isn't great, but nothing like Winding Woods. There is a good bit of crime in that complex. At Skytop the elementary school would be Eisenhower, which is good.

Most of the homes in that area are fairly nice. There is a large single family development behind Eisnehower that is very nice, quintessential suburbia. Across the street is a huge, mostly townhomes, complex called La Mer.

Just avoid Winding Woods at all costs.

Sayreville is very safe. Low crime--almost all of it happens in that complex. (And WW is way on the edge of town. I've heard many people say its really in Old Bridge, but they don't want to claim it.)

I'm afraid I don't know about apts. in Metuchen

FEUZA is on a distinguished road
Cool Looking to buy or rent?

If buying I do not recommend Sayreville, simple because of the taxes= too much and there is not much going on in the town, I live nearby in South River, NJ but very small town, dead- lol~
if looking to buy I am nearby and work with mortgages, plus my mom is a realtor.
Good luck
