287 accident yesterday?

Thankfully no deaths. When Im on my bikes I always assume that no one can see me. I find a lot of Daydreaming drivers during this time of year. In my opinion it's the worst time of year to be on the bike not including winter.

I was there driving back to NH...I didn't see the accident. But I found out a tractor trailer hit the cement truck that was in the breakdown lane getting repaired by a father and son on the left side of the cement truck and all 3 got killed instantly . Highway was shutdown for 10 hours..

Different accident. Different year. Different part of I-287.

I try to never stop on the shoulder if possible. Pull into a parking lot or the next exit. Many people get hit trying to change a tire on the shoulder. If you have no choice get out of the vehicle and call cops or tow truck. Otherwise you're a sitting duck.
