Opinions on Montvale, NJ (River Vale, Upper Saddle River: home, high school, train station)

We were looking for a home in Upper Saddle River, Old Tappan and River Vale. However, our realtor showed us a home in Montvale that we really like. It's a beautiful home close to town, but doesn't have a lot of property. We were wondering about schools and community vibe. We have young children. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Montvale is nice.

Yes Montvale is a fine town. Its just as comparable to River Vale. I dont know about the grammer schools but the High School is very good. You will like Montvale its a great town. There is plenty there and your close to alot of things in the other towns. The good thing about Bergen County is every town is so small that if you need anything its all close.

Montvale is pretty on par with those towns I would say. It's got a train station too which is a bonus if you're commuting to NY or plan on making occasional trips there.
