Or maybe some of us just didn't spend our Mother's Day on City-Data! But thank you for the good wishes. I hope everyone had a good day, too.
I didn't see my daughter because she gets out of school on Friday, so there was no point in her making the trip home this weekend. We'll go together to take my mother out to lunch next week.
I did see my mother--she, one of my sisters, her husband, his sister, my niece and her boyfriend went to the Crowne Plaza in Monroe for their brunch. Went last year, too--it's very good. Then we went back to my sister's new place and met her new doggie--an Alaskan Eskimo she got from a rescue--he's so cute. She just had to put her old dog down a couple of months ago. Then I went home, took a big nap, then got up and took a half hour walk to assauge my guilt over stuffing myself at the brunch.
It was a beautiful, beautiful day. The ride home on Route 537 through the horse farms was lovely.
me and my brother helped my mom move some furniture around then me, wife, daughter, mother and brother went to nicchios in belmar. i actually got a $100 gift certificate for $9 from restaurant.com so it worked out great. we had a great time and the food was yummy. my older brother actually called my mother but couldnt talk about seeing her in the future because his baby mama is an evil devil. hopefully she will get hit by a truck soon enough!
