Driving to work this morning on 295. A goose literally falls out of the sky through my windshield. Ended up in the hospital with glass in my eyes.

Yes, that is a wing sitting in the passenger seat. The rest of the goose ended up in the back seat.

Wow that is nuts! I'm glad to hear you are ok for the most part. Just fell out of the sky? Yikes...

That is nuts, maybe he/she wanted what was in that bowl.

Glad you weren't in a very serious accident because of it.

Amazingly no one was tailgating me. I was able to pull in to the median without getting hit. And not one person stopped to help. I know people must have seen what happened.

That is unbelievable, you really never think such things could happen. Glad you are relatively ok though. Condolences to your car's windshield!

Holy canoli. What are the chances of something like that happening? What are the chances of that happening even if your car is parked and stationary? But your car was moving, making this extra super BANANAS!

If I were you, I'd go out and get a Mega Millions ticket. Drawing is tonight.

Also, glad you are OK.

Today, someone told me it was good luck to step in goose poop. You hit the jackpot...better get out and buy a lottery ticket!

Glad you're well enough to talk about it.

Thanks everyone. Should take a few days for the eye to heal, but nothing major. The goose actually hit my steering wheel and bent it backwards. If it would have hit a bit higher I would have been in serious trouble.

I actually didn't realize the goose was in the car. I asked the police officer if it was in front of the car. He looked at my a bit funny and then said it is right behind you.
