Xanadu Gets Uglier | Mobilizing the Region

150,000 visitors a day , the state really needs to come up with a Transit / Road Upgrade plan to handle this , or the Meadowlands will become the Next King of Prussia in terms of Traffic... The Tax payers shouldn't have to flip the bill for the upgrades....

It's going to be way worse than KOP. Way worse. Not even in the same category.

Yea , i was afraid someone would say that....and the tax payers are going to get the bill here. So , on top of the 200 Million the state already gave , add another 4 Billion in Road / Rail expansions. In the end its a lose for everyone...not a win. Gridlocking the Turnpike , NJ 3 , and 17 , and stressing Railroad network is going to backfire.

We already rebuilt the highway network for that. I say we since it's our money that pays for everything all the time, just a matter of how they take it from us.

Idk , if it can handle 150,000 daily visitors.....thats an insane amount. Thats about the same amount of users who switch or pass through Newark Penn station or Fulton Street Subway station....

150k a day is a pipe dream. That's more than Mall of America gets daily. Never gonna happen.

Nah. There is nothing else to do near the MOA. People drive for hours and hours to get there.

Exactly. If I'm coming from Germany (or anywhere for that matter) to NYC, I would likely do Broadway, Times Sq, the Statue of Liberty, strolling around Greenwich Village, NYC shopping, a Yankee or Met game and dining. I sure as hell ain't taking a few hours out of my time to go shopping in a swamp with a ski ramp.

HMM......I bet there's even less to do by the big Canadian equivalent to MOA and Xanadu near Edmonton.....

No, but someone from a "warm weather" country with no mountains might.....I hear these indoor ski places are very popular in places like Dubai.
