Please help!
After having exhausted my list of apartment options in central Jersey, we have come to the conclusion we will be better off in a condo complex. We are a family of 4 with a 2 year old and a 2 month old. We need at a minimum a 2 bed/ 2 bath condo. We would consider townhomes in a condo complex too. ( if the price is right we would look at 3 bed / 2.5 bath units too )
From all the threads I get the message that East Brunswick is a safe place. My husband's office will be in Tower Center Blvd. Please recommend condos which have:
1. First floor units
2. Move in date is 15th July ( if the unit is great then this can be shifted)
3. fitness center within complex
4. walking distance to atleast a few shops/groceries
5. great maintenance onsite as I would be home alone with 2 babies ( husband travels )
6. Atleast 1 good preschool nearby ( We like Goddard school, any other recommendations will be appreciated. My toddler already goes to a similar school in northern Virginia right now)
7. Library nearby
8. playground within complex
We are willing to go upto $1800.
If there are condos available which meet all the above requirements then we would be willing to drive down this weekend to take a look.
All your suggestions would be greatly appreciated. The NJ apartment rental market is confusing as compared to the NOVA region. We were there this last weekend and came back exhausted after looking at smelly old complexes with a wailing hot 2 month old!
We are Asian Indians and are looking for a diverse condo community. ( We did tour the Edison area and are not used to such crowded neighbourhoods)
