Searched through some previous threads but didn't see any good answers.

Anyhow I'm looking for a house there and I have several prospective places and then I discovered the town is basically surrounded by water on 3 sides. It looks like flooding occurs south of 46 and along the coastlines but does anyone have a good idea how far inland it goes? Preferably if you've lived in the area before

I've looked at the FEMA maps to start out with but they don't have anything to look at.

Thanks!

It can go pretty far inland depending on the severity. I'd try to stay up the hill from Bergen Tpk and the Main St Bypass.

I don't think there are much issues with 46 as it's up the hill and crosses over the rivers on high bridges. Anyone who lives in that part of town though please correct me if I'm wrong!
