Trenton has some beautiful homes right on the (Delaware?) river, unfourtantly they are all empty or they are crack houses. Camden and Newark are also NJ cities that have prime locations but fell into disrepair. These pics are nice but don't be fooled, Trenton is still a violent ghetto that is gang infested.

Great photos. I also like how you were able to capture some of the nice homes in the area. It is a shame that Trenton is overall bad with some of the nice homes that they have.

Wow, this totally takes me back. Still looks about the same as when I left in '93. I was so hoping for a shot of Market Street.....or Trenton Makes, the World Takes......yes, a lot of places in disrepair, it's sad.

My dad plays jazz at the Mill Hill Saloon many nights a month.....Jersey represent!

Thanks for the photos, they were awesome......

Driving through and around downtown Trenton u wouldn't see many of those nicer homes. Someday when people reclaim our old cities the boarded up buildings and houses will be torn down or restored and occupied. State street is my favorite to walk on. I also like the huge state library there. If I was given a descent old house, I would live there. It's not dominated by foreigners like a lot of cities are in nj, but just enough.

Trenton is the best. I have been living in Trenton all my life. I've been to places outside of Trenton such as Morrisville, PA and Willingoro, NJ etc., but I always got home sick. There are some parts of Trenton that need fixing but many of our homes are nice and comfortable. We also have construction workers rebuiling the abandoned houses so that it wont look like some of the pictures shown above. If you haven't been to Trenton before people might say there is too many crimes occuring but crimes occur everywhere. New York has more than twice as many crimes we have in one year in a day. Come to Trenton you will enjoy yourself and your neighbors trust me.
