They are within the Middletown School District which at one had an excellent rating nationwide. My kids went to Catholic school for their first 6 yrs. up until Middle school. In the public school system here has always been more than the average amount of problems with the teachers union and the board. A lot of POLITICS. For example, the year my kids entered the public school system there was a teachers strike their first week of school. The contention between them had come to a boil. Their antics had been played out in the press for years. I was not all that impressed with the education system on the whole in Middletown, but officially I do not know what the stats are. Happily my daughter graduated in June from MHSN and it won't be a issue for me any longer. I am in no means slamming the teachers, I found them to be more than adequate. Middletown is a wonderful place to raise kids!
