I was reading a thread on here and came across info about Brownfield sites. Someone provided a link and I checked it out. The area that we are looking at it Mullica Hill/East Greewich/Mickelton area. I had already looked up superfund sites and didn't find anything in the area...but the brownfield site..that concerned me a bit. My parents live in Medford and I grew up there..and I checked that out too and there were a lot more Brownfield sites in the Medford area...and we are all ok.

I also read I believe it was ONizuka<?> that said most of the times it isn't something to worry about unless your on a well because most of it is in the ground.

On the site there was a listing for a "Contaminated but with restrictions" which I don't know what that means..but it was an elementary school. I think it was South harrison township .. ?? That seems a little concerning to me...but I don't know enough about it.

I was curious as too what people know about these sites..and what you guys have heard about Gloucester county regarding brownfield/superfund sites. It maybe something that is everywhere and you can't get away from ..?

thanks guys again!!!!
oh and I am seriously asking about these and don't want this to turn into an "I hate Nj thread" or a "Don't move here thread" I see a lot of those on here..and we have no choice ..we have to move..thanks!!
