Sorry you have gotten so many neg replies. I am born and raised in South Jersey and moved to Florida for 2 yrs due to business, but cried everyday until I came back home. Nothing beats the shore!!! I live in Somers Point, 5 mins from Ocean City and 10 mins from Atlantic City. It is a great place to live. It is close to everything. The schools in Somers Point are excellent and the High School is in Linwood which is rated the best as far as academics is concerned. The housing and taxes of course are expensive, but you get what you pay for. Beautiful oceans and great neighborhoods. The traffic is unbearible in the summer due to all the tourists coming to OC but in the winter, you can't find a single soul to be found. So you take the good with the ba, like everywhere. My motto is "Jersey Girl born and raised, never leave, love the craze!" There you have it. Hope this helps you out a little bit better.
oh, and I agree...Jersey has great pizza!! Whenever we go to visit my parents, we always have to get pizza. I have not found really good pizza in Maryland...and in Pittsburgh? No way.
Especially here in Lodi. We have great pizza. Our favorites are T & J's and Lodi Pizza. Whenever we travel we are never happy with the pizza.
