But driving to the PATH is still cheaper than driving into Manhattan.
I don't think buses run all the way out to Wayne at 2AM, but I think some of the routes in Bergen County do. The #159 and #190 buses might work for you (Go to njtransit.com for the exact schedules)

A little far, but it may work. Thanks, appreciate it!
you could drive to secaucus junction, then take one of the 2 trains (i think) that leave hourly late at night. i've never done it as late as your talking, but i've done it at midnight. secaucus junction is a great park and ride as opposed to hoboken in this case.
Couldn't go to Hoboken anyway as there's no weekend service to Wayne. And I just checked the schedule--last train from NYP to Secaucus is 1:22. You could take the PATH to Harrison and take 280 towards Wayne or park at Rutherford station and take the 190 to and fro. http://www.njtransit.com/pdf/bus/T1122.pdf
Parking on the street is free at night, tolls shouldn't be more than $10, do you only park in garages?
