Rutgers Prof: Rep. Paul Ryan's wine choice speaks volumes | NJ.com
(I'm posting this here, not in P&C, b/c the woman works at Rutgers and she posted her "issue" on a NJ news site.)
So RU Associate Prof Susan Feinberg is out in DC, at a pricey restaurant (trying to ignore that fact by saying she was there for a "special birthday dinner") and feels the need to confront a table of politicians and hedge fund managers about the expensive bottles of wine they ordered. All because she feels that since others can't afford the same, and the cost of the wine could be someone's weekly/monthly salary.... Ryan, et. al, should have been drinking toilet water, perhaps even digging through the dumpsters outside the restaurant for their meal.
She even took pictures of them with her cell phone in hopes that Ryan's two dinner companions were lobbyists

Does she not realize where she works? Football team/stadium/coach salary costs what? Student fees and tuition is rising why? Ex-President is making how much for doing what? How many kids from minimum wage/low income/middle class are not going to be able to afford RU because of the increases? But she's ok with dining out in DC, at a pricey, up-scale restaurant while some students might have to drop out or defer their education b/c the tax payer funded school she works for....

Completely agree with the first thing that was said in this. I recently studied abroad, and was baffled at how cheap undergraduate and graduate studies were over there (I really should've considered those options more!). Needless to say this Associate Professor is calling the cow spotted. She has no credibility on this issue, no matter how lib she is, based on her career.
