As they walk the crime scene, detectives come with more information: A black or dark green SUV rolled down Scheerer Avenue. A black male leaned out of the passenger side with a "banana clip" gun and fired at a crowd of about 20 people sitting on milk crates and old chairs in the driveway of the abandoned house.
Blah Blah Blah , another Newark bashing thread.....why not create one thread...its god dam South Ward.....
How is this a Newark bashing thread? It is telling a story of what happens there. Ignoring the senseless violence that happens in Newark doesn't help the city.

I'm not ignoring the problem , i'm saying he creates thread after thread bashing Newark and saying it will never recover.... Why not create one thread? Clearly he is trolling this site......he did the same thing on 2 other sites and was banned for it..... And you don't see a new crime thread for every crime on other boards why is NJ any different?

Unfortunately, Newark happens to be among the most dangerous cities in the country. I am surprised more NJ foks aren't angry about this.

Its not even in the top 10....or 15... New Jerseyites are angry , but theres so many things wrong with this state.... The Problems with Newark are the corruption of the councilmen , backward laws , and corrupt cops....which lead to lawlessness in the South and West Wards.... I doubt that will change....Newark should focus on improving and saving the Central , North and East Wards and it has done a great job doing that. Crime is average for those wards , compared to the high crime in the South and West....

You forgot to mention the people who are committing the crimes and those who cover up for them.

It is this type of thing that allows crime to thrive in Newark. The residents and apologists simply ignore, glamorize or excuse criminals. It is this type of thought that will continue to doom Newark.
