Wildwood is still my favorite.

It's a must visit every summer.

there are dozens of towns along the 127 mile long jersey shore and each one is different from the next, some are quiet places, some are family type towns, some are honky tonk, some are great for 20 something singles. no one town will be great for everyone. someone interested in getting a place at the shore needs to match their lifestyle to the town or they won't like where they wind up. A place like wildwood is a great place for a good time but
I think most people wouldn't want to live there with the crowds, noise and transients there. Many people would find a place like Bay Head too dull and not be happy there.
There is a town for everyone the trick is finding one that is good for you

With the gas prices this year, I bet the shore is going to be hurting.

I still want to make my trip to Wildwood.

Leigh521 is on a distinguished road
Can anyonw suggest a town that is like Cape May but further north? I love CM but want to buy closer to the city. I haven't had much luck. I love the look of the town and the different shops. I also like how you can walk to the beach. I don't want to have to drive and park in a big lot like Sandy Hook.
We went to Spring Lake but couldn't find an actual town.
