Which NJ Shore Town Is The Best For A Vacation.
Which NJ Shore Town Is The Best For A Vacation?
Personally, I love the Cape May / Wildwood areas. There's much to do and the beachs are clean. It's a great area to bring the kids.
The boardwalk speaks for itself. "Watch the Tram Car... Watch, watch the tram car, please."
(It's not a cheap vacation though!)

None. Go to Ocean City, MD, The Outer Banks, NC or Myrtle Beach, SC. Or up North (Maine, NH seacoast). As for Jersey, it's not bad for a day trip here and there (although Cape May is nice, quaint and has great B&B's, LBI isn't bad for families, I'll give it that)==(even younger singles crowds - college thru 30's - have started going to LBI, but I don't think it has gotten or will get as bad/wild as Seaside). Other than that...can't say much about my opinion of the Jersey Shore other than it was wonderful...once.

I totally agree w/ the original post...Wildwood or Cape May. Wildwood if you want a fun time w/ lots to do, Cape May if you want something more laid back and romantic.

You forgot to tell them the must things to do when in Wildwood. #1 visit Kellys Pub (children O.K.) #2 The Ravioli House (children a must). #3 Seashell ice cream parlor (children optional). #4 Curlys fries on the boardwalk. #5 Duffys On The Lake for a very good dinner. #6 Ernies Fabulous Fifties Diner for breakfast. Sad to hear that Duffinettis recently closed, it was one of the best places to eat in the area. Finally The Lobster House down in Cape May, it's a great place to buy fresh seafood. Oh and of course, watch the tram car please. P.S. I like the little watch/watch stutter it's very authentic.

My husband thinks it is SO funny to jump on the tram car rails and then jump off, just to make the voice stutter. He is in his mid-30s! lol My favorite part of Wildwood is riding on the big ferris wheel on a clear night; the view from the top is incredible.

Does your husband visit Kellys before he does his tram car hopping?

I like Kellys Pub, but I was shocked to find that it didn't have Irish music.

I also like that pancake house in North Wildwood, but I forget the name. There's is always about a half hour wait outside the place.
