Hey guys!

I usually don't come into the Jersey boards since I live up in Connecticut, but we're all in this one together!

The tropical storm winds are already covering much of Jersey, the hurricane winds are not too far behiind.

I think this image automatically update itself, so come and check it every once a while to see how bad things might get.

Stay safe guys!

I assume you're in Southern Jersey? Looks like there's a dry slot.

Doppler's showing a break in the bands over you, for the moment. More to come.

Our power went out in West Windsor. It took us about 10 minutes to get up on backup power. We're leaving the AC off for the night.

Keeping in mind that the storm hasn't left NC yet, you have quite a way to go. Hurricane Irene moves up East Coast

I hope no one has a problem, but this is why I kept saying to be prepared. This is the largest storm in a very long time.

I didn't mean I thought the storm was over. It was just eery the way it stopped all of a sudden.

It'll do that on the front end & the back end of the storm. In the middle, it's pretty relentless. This storm is very powerful because of the size. I'm about 7 hours from the NC coast & about 3 1/2 from the SC coast & we've been getting breazes from the storm here.
