I've seen a couple rental listings in this area and would like to know how safe the area is? I'm a single gal, early 30s moving to the area for the first time from DC. Specifically, I'm looking at the Finderne Heights condos -- north of 28.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, the Finderne section of Bridgewater--like all sections of the township--is safe. I would have no problem recommending this area to a female friend or relative.

No Finderne is not very safe at all. Any crime in Bridgewater is from the Finderne section. I would not move there.

Well, it's the "least" nice area of Bridgewater but Bridgewater is overall a really nice area so it's a rather subjective judgement. I know a couple people who have lived in the Finderne section of Bridgewater and never had any issues. I have a friend who lives in those condos and never complained about anything or not feeling safe. I think any time you live in a condo or apartment complex, you run the risk of crappy neighbors since you have people living closer to each other.

We lived in Finderne many years ago and South of E. Main street was not very nice, now it is terrible. I think you will find the North area acceptable. I never heard anything bad about Findern Hights condo's.

It's fine. Probably pretty boring for a single though.

Try Chelsea village. It is much better and safer than Finderne Heights condos, yet only slightly more expensive.

You might want to check post dates before posting. I'm pretty sure 2 years later, they've found somewhere to live by now.
