You mean to put the tracks over the bridge, or they would charge them some sort of train toll?

I just can't wrap myself around paying $12 to go over the BB, OBX, or GB - even if it's been analyzed 6 ways till Sunday and agreed this was the right step. Thank God I never have to do it.
Well, eventually, the price of everything goes up, including travel. The monthly MetroCard was raised from $89 to $104, and if somebody has multiple family members who use transit, that's a pretty big increase.

Probably some sort of interagency agreement.

I get it, really I do. Regardless, $12 *to me* is crazy. Partly the reason I moved from Bayonne was to escape the tolls, and I was *only* paying $4/day then.

I'm just saying. I never implied you didn't understand anything. I mean, if you get more value for the extra money (when you consider that it's cheaper to reach Manhattan from Bayonne, minus the tolls you pay in Bayonne) by moving further out, it was a good move.

If I were in a situation where I was paying $12 for tolls, I'd strongly consider moving as well. I agree 100% with what you said.
