My girlfriend and I are looking to share an apartment with our friend. She works in Princeton and he works near the Neptune area. We're trying to find an area that's relatively close to Princeton but has easy access to the Neptune area (via Route 33 most likely). We're looking for a two bedroom under $1300 that accepts cats. Does anyone know of any good apartments in this region that fits this criteria? So far we've looked at Hightstown, and West and East Windsor, but we're having trouble finding much there.

Ewing might have some things available but in that range you might be in the bad area.

East Windsor, Hightstown...maybe Monroe and Freehold. There's several apartment complexes in East Windsor so I can't imagine how you'd have much trouble finding one.
I lived in Sharon Arms in Robbinsville 4 years...that might not be a bad option for you commute-wise either. The lease will say no pets, but I had a cat and I told the landlord I had a cat during our initial interview, and his response was "I don't want to know." So it was never a problem. It was a great complex to live in, about a 35 minute commute to Princeton (due to traffic around Princeton, not distance), and a perhaps 40ish minutes to Neptue (due to distance, not traffic). The complex is very clean and peaceful. Two bedroom apartments I believe range from $895 - $1300 depending on size and whether or not they have a washing machine. However there may be a waiting list right now for the two bedroom apartments.
