I live on the borderline of Union City/Weehawken near 36th st. and was wondering if there are any free public tennis courts around nearby. The only one I know of is the Weehawken Rec Center area and it always seems to be busy or locked during random hours when it says it should be open.

Thanks!

I only know of the tennis courts in Weehawken onthe waterfront. There are courts in Jersey City along route 1&9 (about a 10 min drive from you). I'm not sure if only residents can use them or if it's open to everyone.
