I have an appointment at 900 Route 17 in Ramsey. I am coming from the GWB, will probably take route 80 or 4 to 17 north

in the event i want to stop for breakfast, any diners on 17 north before I hit Ramsey?

after the appt which should end by about 12:30, I want to go to the Fireplace in Paramus for lunch

would i take 17 South to Ridgewood Avenue in which direction? is the FP on the corner of Ridgewood Ave and 17?

Can't remember about any diners on 17 going north, but there might be.

Re the Fireplace--take Ridgewood Avenue going toward Oradell, then pull into the Fashion Center parking lot (where Lord & Taylor is just after you cross on the overpass over 17.) You can get to the Fireplace from back there--I don't exactly remember what you do, but I remember I could always find it from back there.

There is Suburban Diner in Paramus on 17 North. It would be shortly after you get on 17.

Fireplace is right on 17. Just get off at the exit for the fashion center, or make a U-turn at Paramus Park

Plenty as mentioned above. And if you don't mind a little further past your appointment, further up 17 N is the Stateline Diner which is one of my favorites.
