I thought the real estate market is depressed here but it appears that construction activity has started again on River Road in Edgewater. Am I missing something here?
I think there are several noticeable construction sites like the construction across from the Mitsuwa Japanese supermarket, the one behind the new Edgewater city hall and the one next to the movie theater. Workers are also demolishing the old furniture store on Old River Road so I am assuming someone will build something there as well.
Anyone know what these constructions are for? Condo? Office space? I hope this is a good sign but am really not seeing any recovery giving the horrible resale prices in my condo complex.
