What are they like? IS one town worse than the other? I see very different pricing on homes. What are the demographics?

The short answer: Roselle is much more African American/black; Roselle Park is largely white.

Roselle Park is more affluent overall (though some of the kids can be trouble-makers as I've dealt w/ it personally, it's nothing you'd see in the larger cities)

Roselle has decent areas but I believe it largely depends on where you're at. I've noticed the areas that border Roselle Park and such are decent (and well-groomed) while the areas closer to Linden actually seem more like Linden.

But that's just from what I've seen.

The Hispanic population has been growing noticably in both, with the greatest concentration being by Westfield Avenue (the boundary between the two towns).

But as you said, Roselle Park generally has more Whites, and Roselle has more Blacks.
