I am considering moving to an adult community in the Whiting / Manchester area of NJ. I have not actually gone down there yet for a look but one thing that concerned me was flooding. Does anyone know if they have issues there? I currently live in Matawan and flooding here has never been an issue.

My mother lived down there for years and I wasn't aware of any significant flooding problems.

no flooding in Whiting. But, no good shopping or restaurants either. You have to travel back towards Toms River. And make sure you don't live near the Joint Base McGuire-Dix in Lakehurst.
