There are dirty dishes in my sink right now. I have a cold and I feel terrible. I wish that Barbara Eden would drop by and make them go away. Maybe I'll hide them in the dishwasher.
Hope you feel better!

when i was in college, i just used disposable everything. was pretty nice.

we run the dishwasher every night. this house came with 2 dishwashers, i didnt realize that was needed. one of them doesnt drain right and im tired of dealing with repair people so we only really use the one.

Two dishwashers? How many kitchens do you have?

not too long ago, a friend of mine built a house from scratch and he put in 2. i asked and he basically said it comes in handy when you have people over. i didnt see the need. now i got a house with 2 (in one kitchen). there really isnt a use except when we have guests. i was going to rotate usage but i need to get one repaired first.

That sounds crazy. I don't think I've ever been in a kitchen with enough storage space, I'd convert one to cabinets so fast it's silly.

Yup!
That's the guy.

And, I should add that nobody will eat anything that came from his kitchen... for obvious reasons.

People who are strictly kosher usually have two dishwashers. One for "meat" dishes, and one for "dairy" dishes.

You don't have to put dishes away when you have two dishwashers. You take something out of the clean machine, then throw it into the other one. Most people use a fraction of their dishes, glassware, and pots and pans on a daily basis. It makes sense to me.

My parents bought a house from a senior Jewish woman in 1970. There were kosher cabinets and a sink in the basement.

There should be a bowl of fruit or a flower arrangement in those pictures.
