I am current on NJ Short-Term disability. This disability extended beyond the 12 week max Medical Family Leave. I am now without a job, but I didn't quit. Employer required to hold job 12 weeks only, so my position filled. My question is " Will I be able to collect NJ unemployment assuming my doctor states I am able to work again sometime in the future"? Thank-You

Yes you will.

As soon as your doc says you can get off disability you can apply for unemployment. It will be a bit of a hassle, you'll have to do a phone interview with an agent, have all your papers in hand, but you will qualify.
