My husband is starting a new job in cream Ridge,Nj area. Currently we live in Haddonfield, NJ in a rental. I have three kids one in high, one in middle and one in elementary. I am very pleased with Haddonfield school district. But now I,m concerned that my husband's commute will be almost an hour long. Are there any nice areas near cream ridge with good school district? We are also panning to buy a house. I have looked into freehold, west windsor and princeton area. I also like Haddonfield. What price range will I be looking to buy a house in any of these ares. My max budget is 350k to 500k. Can somebody give me an honest opinion. Thanks

I love Haddonfield too! We use to live in Cherry Hill and were planning to move to Haddonfield but my husbands job took him to North Jersey. He was commuting 3 hours a day back and forth. It was rough, my kids are little 7 and 4 and they never saw in at night. So we decided to move. Big mistake!! The commute sucked but nothing beats that area.

As for the towns you mentioned I would stay away from Freehold. I never heard anything good about it. Do not know much about West Winsdor but Princeton is really nice, expensive but nice. I don't know if you looked up the school systems online at all but Haddonfield is hard to beat!

West Windsor-Plainsboro is a very highly regarded school district, although $350-500K seems a bit tight for it.

Freehold Borough you want to stay away from. Freehold Twp is pretty solid and you may be able to find something in that price range there. The schools I don't know too much about, but they are probably OK. It is getting very crowded there though, lots of regional shopping.

Why not look in Cream Ridge itself? I know it is very rural, but there is a small walkable main street area close by called Allentown which I am almost positive is in the same district, which I cannot give you info on, but I haven't heard terrible things about it. I mean it is boonies aside from Allentown itself, but you are also close to Hamilton/Trenton area and a few major highways (130, 195 & 295) as well.
