All I'm saying is the deer population explosion is the result of many other issues and not a solitary problem.

Now those would take someone with a set of brass b*lls to hunt them.

What would it take, .338 Win. Mag., .340 Wby. Mag., .375 H&H Mag.? Bigger, maybe?

Velociraptors are more likely to be hunting you than you them, they hunt in threes, and they're not big as dinosaurs go, so I'd suggest something which sacrifices stopping power for weight and maneuverability. Probably still need better than a pistol round, perhaps a carbine chambered for the venerable 7.62x39 or 5.56 NATO. Bring a lot of ammo and fire in bursts.

Anyway, a predator's population is generally controlled by prey availability, so no need to bring in a dinosaur to eat the wolves; they'll die off as the deer and other prey become scarcer.

but it doesnt matter if the fault is that people are taking away their habitat. they dont own habitat, they are animals. we are people. we can take whatever we want and eat them.
