New to the area and new to public transportation, I am looking for a way to get from Livingston Ave near middle school to stops on route 18, at an office building near Hooters going into East Brunswick....I'm totally clueless on how to make this happen, and I've seen some really insightful posts up here helping with transportation around the area. =)

Area buses are tough because really they all flow towards Manhattan.

My best suggestion would be to take the bus from Route 27 (runs parallel to Livingston Ave) over to Two Towers center. I think the bus may in fact run later by the Hooters as it goes to the NJ turnpike but not sure if it will stop there.
