In need of OBGYN (Clifton, Hackensack: living in, suite, offices) - New Jersey (NJ) - City-Data Forum

Hi Guys,

I am new to the area- living in Bergen County working in Hackensack and at the moment my husband and I are ttc. I have heard of a great doctor called
Dr. Shakarjian who used to practice on Old Hook Road, Westwood but seems to have gone of the map.

I was wondering if anyone knows where Dr. Shakarjian may be based out of now and what hospitals she is affiliated with or alternatively if you could please advise of a good OBGYN in the Westwood/ Hackensack area.. Preferably a female..

I've been out of the area for awhile, but years ago went to Dr. Donna Nickles in Hawthorne. I think her office was right off Rt. 208 near Lincoln Ave.? This was more than 10 yrs. ago though. She was the go to OB GYN at the time. I know at least 5-6 people that went to her. She was very nice.

I recommend Dr. Sariye Savci. She has offices both in Hackensack, NJ and Clifton, NJ. Check the practice's web site - First Choice Ob Gyn. She is a good OBGYN and spends a lot of time with her patients. She emphasizes team work and patient empowerment through education. Check out the educational material in her web site.
