^"NYC is underwater after 100 years from now."

Not entirely implausible.

I wish they would use the cars to go to work or school and be productive members of society not thugs. It's the gangsta lifestyle. I always wondered how come rappers seem to be the only artists in the musical world killing each other almost daily. Do the country and western, rock, jazz artists shoot each other almost daily. It's a way of life that has to be changed if they want to reduce murder rates.

It's a hypercritical niche. Whenever a rapper specializing in Iambic pentameter comes across one utilizing Alexandrines, well, it's just a matter of time before someone gets a cap busted in his azz.

Newark is not unlike any other major city; it has "nice" areas, and "bad" areas. If you are a scared suburbanite, you may not like it here. I personally feel that Newark has a lot to offer. It has the best restaurants in the state, it has one of the most convenient transit systems to and from NYC, it has NJPAC and the Pru Center. It is currently undergoing a transformation and I believe it to be the next Hoboken or JC. It has too many assets not to be. If you are afraid of crime maybe you should never leave your house. That's not to say it doesn't have its problems, but give it a chance.
Yes, many people are afraid of their own shadows. Some actually act as though they are proud of that fact
