We are considering moving to New Jersey from London England but are not familiar with towns. We want somewhere green, within say 1 hour train to Manhattan and a Jewish community (not Charedi) for our age group 60 years of age. Can anyone please suggest locations and helpful realtors. Thanks

Hi! The NY metro area in general has a pretty high Jewish population as compared to other areas.

How much are you looking to spend on a home?

I would recommend Bergen County in general for the greenness and neighborhood feel and for the 1-hr. limit into NYC. If you can give an idea of how much you have to spend, I will name a few towns that I feel you might like.

Default Places

A few suggestions would be Livingston, Short Hills or maybe Marlboro. All fairly pricey, but nice towns.
Good luck.
