Ticket for driving with cell phone--points?

Some young woman last week, maybe 20, was driving behind me in the fast lane but not driving too fast. She had her head down in the classic "texting position" As we go through the next traffic light I see a cop light them up and I move over and he's on her ass like she just ran over a little lady. So there's no points for texting either? Wow.

There should be mandatory fines and punishment for cell phone use by the driver while a vehicle is in motion.
I recommend,
1. confiscation of vehicle and crushing of same vehicle
2. mandatory jail time
3. lifetime revocation of driving and car ownership privileges

If those three don't work, possible death penalty imposed by jurors of those involved in cell phone use car crashes caused by others.

I hope I am not being to harsh.

I don't know about crushing the car, but dropping the phone into a bucket of water and maybe a 1,000 fine with the proceeds feeding homeless people might suffice. lol PDD
