I’m an NJCU Alumnus. I hold a Finance degree and got a job as an accountant soon after graduating in 2005.

I thought it was a decent school. The tuition is reasonable and I had, for the most part, good experiences with the Professors and fellow students.

Like most things, it’s what you make of it.

My friend went there and said he couldn't believe it's an actual college. He transferred to Farleigh-Dickinson University or whatever it's called.

NJCU Accreditation
I know that, but is it reputable enough to get a decent job? (like is it accredited in the employer's eyes)

The same, my roommate went there and went to only 5 out of 14 classes and got an A in Computer Operating Systems. Its a joke school unless you plan to move on to another graduate school with a better reputation

I just can't believe it's regionally accredited.

It says their Security Studies program was designed by Homeland Security and NSA. I was also told NJCU provides the biggest number of internships among NJ schools, which include FBI, Secret Service, DEA, etc. And even though NJCU doesn't seem very reputable, I am thinking, the above agencies wouldn't work with morons, right?
