Default Need to get to NYC from East Brunswick(NJ)

Hey everyone, my friend is coming from another state to NJ (East Brunswick) and she needs to go to NYC next morning, but she is not familiar with this area. She has to be in New York(China Town) at 7 am this Thursday september 6th.....
Does anybody know the exact directions by bus or train? And where she can catch them ? Also the time if somebody knows...
Thank you .....

From East Brunswick she would have to take the 68/138 bus.

Here's the link to the bus schedule http://www.njtransit.com/pdf/bus/T1168.pdf

(scroll down a page for buses to NYC.)

I wouldn't recommend the 138 because it goes all the way to Port Authority (42nd and 8th). The 68 (first bus @ 6:11am) goes to Exchange Place in Jersey City, from there she can get on to the PATH train to the World Trade Center. And finally take the ' E' Train to Canal street (chinatown). I don't think she'll make it by 7am.

Your other Option is to drive her to the New Brunswick train station, take the Northeast Corridor Line (5:11am) to Penn Station New York(6:10) (not newark) then walk over to the A , C, or E train and take it downtown to Canal st.

Good Luck hope that helps.

Best way would be to take the bus in East Brunswick at the Hilton Towers right on Route 18. That will take you right into NYC.
