Is Newark, Bloomfield, Montclair, Ironbound, and etc..Good places to live at? Are the rents and houses to buy expensive
there. I mean, how is live in those area.
Can you find a job there.
How are the schools there? Is it easy for a teacher to find a job there, as a teacher or as a sub?
Is it a good place to live?

You can look up rental and sale prices on websites like Zillow, Realtor, or Trulia. Newark is mostly a ghetto. Not the best choice on your list. The other towns would be better.
The entire United States is in a deep recession. I don't know why you don't know this, even from Brazil. NO, it's not easy to find a job--one person in ten is out of work right now.
To look at what teaching jobs are out there go to New Jersey Local News, Breaking News, Sports & Weather - NJ.com and search on their "jobs" section.

I agree that Newark is not the best community to choose from despite the fact that it is the most affordable in the state. "Mostly a ghetto" may be a bit of a stretch, but the majority is indeed at least borderline or slightly rundown. But if you are a college student, really tight for money and do not mind living in an urban environment, perhaps you could look for something in the Downtown or Ironbound districts of Newark. For more information, A LOT has been discussed and debated about Newark. Just search the forum.
Montclair is a really nice, artsy, cosmopolitan town. Definitely a good place to live. Major drawback is the high cost of living. It is astronomical like many other parts of NJ.
Bloomfield may be the best choice...based on what little I know about what you are looking for. There is some good starters and affordable apartments in Bloomfield, while at the same time it is a safe community to live in. A bit blue-collar, but much more livable and safer than Newark.
I am sorry that I could not provide you more information...you may have to post more about what you are looking for before we can proceed to give you a more complete answer.

Newark is a death trap. Wouldn't move there.
Montclair is overpriced for what you get. Quality of the town is diminishing.
Bloomfield is very trashy and congested.
None of these towns are hiring teachers, they've all cut back.

There are some nice areas of Bloomfield....its not all trashy....the Downtown is getting a major overhaul with Luxury Housing going up and retail space. The OP should look into Harrison.

I agree with Nexis...Bloomfield definitely has some descent areas. Yes, some are blue-collar working class, but some are better than that.

Agree. My friend/coworker lives in Bloomfield, a town I was never very familiar with. She's in a small, cape-type house, but it's a nice little house, with a yard and some big trees. Quiet street. It is her and her husband and little girl, and she's OK with the elementary school where her daughter goes, too.

It depends where in Newark are you looking at. Forest Hill, Downtown, Society Hill, Ironbound(sans projects), Upper Vailsburg and Upper Roseville aren't what I call "the ghetto". Have you people never been throughout the city like I have instead of Penn Station or the airport and just assume the whole place is just made up of crackheads and housing projects?
And LOL at Bloomfield being trashy. In the lower part maybe. Go up into Brookdale or by the Nutley/Clifton line and tell me how trashy it is.

Montclair is fairly good town. Newark is nice but high crime and bad schools.

Nope, I honestly haven't. I work there sometimes, but in the Gateway complex. However, my train takes me through Newark every day and has for years, and as far as the eye can see from the vantage point of the train, there are very few parts of Newark that don't look broken-down and decayed. I'll take your word for it that these other places exist.
Agree that "ghetto" is probably the wrong term to use. However, I personally have never been in a "nice" Newark neighborhood, save the Ironbound, which I still wouldn't personally consider all that "nice", nor have I ever met anyone who said that they live in a nice Newark neighborhood. I have a number of well-educated, middle-class, African-American coworkers who grew up in Newark and did whatever they could to get out of there and raise their children elsewhere.
It's not necessarily crackheads and housing projects. Sometimes it's just plain old poverty, and the crime and hopelessness that goes along with that.
