Best bet would be to actually contact a local dealer for your brand and see who they use. "Non-expensive" isn't what I would be looking for when it comes to having an aftermarket sunroof installed, you want the job done right, not cheap as this could easily turn into the biggest headache ever.

Selecting the cheapest guy to cut into the roof of your car is...not a good idea. That is tantamount to selecting a surgeon, based on which one is the cheapest.
Since your car has only one roof and a mistake in cutting into it will be...of major consequences, I suggest that you seek the most competent shop for this type of job, rather than the cheapest.
Bring it over....$100 bucks....I'll use my sawzall, plastic and duct tape.
I'll even throw in an extra roll of duct tape!

When I see older cars with aftermarket sunroofs, it seems that most of them have lots of Mortite, or some other type of caulking, in order to try to control the leaks from the badly-done conversion job.
I had one installed in the mid 80's by a place on Tonnelle Avenue, it's probably not around anymore. It was $300 back then to give you an idea. It was basically a sunroof with a manual flip up opener. Luckily no problems with leaks. For kicks I'm going to see if it's still around.

That wasn't installed by the same Greek guy that used to do the bodywork in the old KMART / PATHMARK parking lot on Tonnelle and 76th? (LOL) Do you remember all the cars driving around North Bergen, Guttenberg and West New York with the big blobs of bondo all over them with a quick spray of flat black primer over it. Too funny.

I don't know about insurance. The guy and his two sons would drive around the lot looking for people driving cars with body damage. They would approach the drivers and tell them they would fix their car for X amount of dollars.
